I have found my birthmother but now I am worrying about the reunion. Any advice?

Spend some time getting to know each other by phone, letter and email.

Choose to meet on neutral ground - find a quiet hotel or somewhere fairly private. Only take one member of your family with you for support. The first meeting is not the time to introduce lots of people - the first meeting is for the two of you.
Remember that you are meeting a comparative stranger - take things slowly, keep the meeting fairly brief. If all goes well, agree to meet again in the near future. Taking things slowly at first is the best course of action.
